Gates and railings have been around since medieval times. The need will not end anytime soon. Most new building construction requires safety railings of some kind. Entry gates and railings also provide security. In Minneapolis my company built many miles of ornamental railings over several years just to satisfy the continuous orders. The bulk of those orders came from new building construction contractors. Nevertheless, we still built a lot of railings and gates for private homeowners.
